I literally never tried to use the Mabari Warhound (mine was named Hex or Dog), after gaining enough party members. agreed, but you can't *not* use Chie, plus God Hand. Mitsuru was practically always in my party, especially in P3P where I didn't have to worry about her trying to charm uncharmable enemies. And after the Broken steel expansion of Fallout 3 Dogmeat was pretty much invincible did you ever have Dogmeat during broken steel?
Though I've never used him my friends say the Marbari warhound was a tank. I don't know Mitsuru was never that useful to me, Chie too but at least she is a fun character.
